Eucalyptus punctata

Quantity of plants tested: 42
Size of plant tested: 1st year seedlings which were 6" to 2' tall by November 2000.
Soil texture: sandy loam and covered with 2" pine bark mulch.
When planted: the seedling were planted in the ground in July 2000.
Winter protection: None.
Microclimate: 33 were planted in an average microclimate, and 9 were planted in a cold microclimate.
Temperature: refer to 2000-2001 winter on this chart
Findings: all the plants died, none resprouted from the roots.
