aloinopsis_schooneesii.JPG (35677 bytes) September 2000 - This photo shows two of the plants in September 2000.  They were not the fastest growing plants.
December 23, 2000 - here's three of the plants as of December 23,  2000.  The plants appear to be stressed already, or perhaps they just turn this color??  The low temperature without snow cover has been 5F.  There were many days with high temperatures below 32F.
aloinopsis_schooneesii_3.jpg (15663 bytes) December 29, 2000 - here's the status a few days later, notice how the plant are now partially damaged.  December 25 was very cold with highs in the teens and a low of 6F.  Perhaps they can't take prolong cold below 20F.
aloinopsis_schooneesii_4.jpg (17779 bytes) January 27, 2001 - this photo shows some of the plants on January 27, 2001.  It appears they are all close to death now.  All plants did die this winter.
