Winter protection: a plastic tarp covered the plant from early December through February 2000. Note the plant was near the edge of the covering, so some snow did cover the plant in the winter. Microclimate: warm microclimate, 3' from south facing wall. Temperature: refer to 1999-2000 winter on this chart Findings: the plant died. |
