Cold Hardy
Plants has been growing and breeding plants
which are considered "unusual" or "not growable" in
Rhode Island, USA (USDA zone 6) since 1991. Our philosophy is to
experiment with these "unusual" plants to determine what trait
inhibits the growth in the Northeast climate of the USA. Some
plants are marginal subtropicals, while others are native to drier areas
which don't experience wet winters. Our goal is to breed these
"unusual" plants for traits which will enable the plant to
grow in the Northeast USA climate by natural selection. |
